I had the worst experience, ever. I met this cute, fine sista who told me that she was 22 years old. We dated for a few months until I found out that she was only 17. Dang…I could have been tagged as a child pediflie and pornographer and went to jail!!! So be very careful!!!

Yes! Surprisely enough it was a successful relationship. She admitted that she had cancer but was/is surviving. She lived out of town, so we commuted at least 1-2 times a month, she here or I there. She was a student and tried to relocate here to Howard, but the cost was unbelieveable compaired to free. We are still the best of friends. Our relationship now is on a larger scale than before.
    It can work!

The worst experience, we met online and we talked for several months. We exchanged pictures etc.. I purchased a ticket for her to visit me and at the last minute she decided not to come. A few months later she wanted to redeemed the funds from the ticket and go somewhere w/ her partner. Naw! That’s not right!

its funny because i have met alot of people online and as of today we are really good friends. i never dated any of them so i can’t relate to the dating part of it but one of them we met and went out to the delta lol!!! a long time ago we had a good time and nothing happened. all the ones i met online was in a relationship and we were just friends and its has been at least 7yrs or more ago and still talk to some of them on a regular bases. All n all i haven’t had any bad experiences whether it was on a friendship or relationship level. :)

Hmmm, in fact I have dated many people whom I met online, and haven’t had a bad experience. Some I met only once when we realized that the chemistry we had online wasn’t there in person so that was the end of that; others ended up in short-term relationships and yet others in more long-term relationships. A few were out of state and that required a lot of air miles, phone minutes etc. Like everything else there are pros/cons and it’s simply a matter of figuring out what works best for you. Good Luck!

I have never dated someone online. I think that extremely risky. you have to be willing to take risk in order to take that approach in order to find what you are looking for. I never really considered it because that is something I don’t see myself doing. The reason is because it is a high chance that someone will be deceptive towards you because that haven’t seen you or spent time with you physically or just a number of other reasons. I feel like it is some far from traditional dating that it hard to believe you can actually fall in love with someone you never met in person.

Actually I have met quite a few quality women on line and dated about three of them exclusively. Two of the three didn’t work out for one reason or another but now I have my baby and it is a blessing. She is truly a testiment that you can find love online. Initially it was just to meet someone where I was going on vacation with my friends (since all of them were in relationships). Now out of the three relationships of my friends only one is going strong. Dang! It is some quality folks out there but you just have to screen them carefully because I have ran into some weirdos too! LOL
