Probably lack of visibility as a sect of the community…it almost doesnt feel like we’re in the community. This is possibly due to a lack of unity amongst women of color within the community due to labels, stigmas, and miscommunication.
The problem is even though it is evident that there are LGBT people on this planet we are still basically outcast to the non-supporters because we are apart from the rest of the world because almost everything we do outside of working is segregted. For example, the clubs that we go to are separate from the rest of the world. I guess that in order for us to feel comfortable or safe we have to sepaate ourselves from the heterosexual crowds. We can’t even speak openly about sexuality without someone feeling some sort of discomfort. I have always been a private person so this does’t really effect me none but for some people they want the world to know who they are in love with without incident. Unfortunatly, that does not happen without incident because they will be kind of price to pay if you want to express your love for your same sex partner in public.
i think there is too much wanting to please others and live for others in our community. a prime example is stud on stud dating. everyone and their mama has something negative to say about this…
We don’t work on ourselves before we step out into the world…
It’s one thing when you don’t know, but it’s another when you do know something needs to be worked on.
We are looking for things that may not exist… and we read too many white magazines…
We are like no other, yet we expect to do it the way others do it… and we except it done to us the ways it done for others.
We are stronger than what we are willing to show… for what ever reasons…
When we display straight, we are view as not having any use for others and to much attitude… and when we keep it inside and take what’s offered… we are weak and needy…
Black women need to just stand up and love ourselves… our builds, skin color, hair texture, booties and lips, emotions, compassion, neediness, and position in the family and most of all… three minutes in the bed is not cutting it…
Black women need long, dragged out, earth shaking, back breaking, ass slapping, clit nibbling, titty sucking, finger fncking, bone grinning… sheet wetting… pussy milking… mountain climbing orgasmic sex… in order to ………..
What was the question?
OH yeah… What is a problem I think that affects the women of color in the LGBT community…
We have too much built up inside of us… we need outlets…
It aint easy being sexy…

About
welcome 2 our block! the purpose of this site is 2 share our opinion on anything that is going on around the block. Understand that the block isn’t just the street we live on…it’s the entire community around us and these days with the internet and media, that could mean anywhere around the globe…better yet , let’s just open it up completely and say the block is the entire galaxy. The block also means whatever is spinning around in our heads…we have some pretty big “block” heads, so there’s no telling what might be going on inside them.
